The Town of Pense, R.M. of Pense and the Village of Belle Plaine joined together to form an Emergency Management Organization to coordinate emergency situations or threats of emergency situations affecting the property, health, safety and welfare of the community.
Emergency Management delivers three fundamental objectives:
- Plan for emergencies disasters
- Respond to disasters
- Manage a recovery phase
The Emergency Management Plan (EMP) is a municipal document that outlines the policy, operations and roles and responsibilities for the Town of Pense, R.M. of Pense and the Village of Belle Plaine.
The plan assists in carrying out duties related to the municipal emergency management plan to prepare for and respond to disasters.
If you would be interested in becoming a volunteer for the Emergency Management Organization please either email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 306-345-2332.
During an emergency or disaster, the EMP recognizes that it is important to get timely and accurate information out to the public. The Town of Pense, R.M. of Pense and the Village of Belle Plaine will use social media and SaskAlert to notify the public of impending and current disasters, providing safety instructions and updates on the situation.
