Curling Club

The Pense Curling Club welcomes you to our community.  Our Club operates a two-sheet rink that is connected to the Pense Memorial Hockey Rink.   From the months of October to March, the rink is the hub of activity in town.  We offer opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to curl, including a Learn to Curl Program, several bonspiels, league play and rentals for corporate/family events.

The Learn to Curl Program is open to anyone between the ages of 8 to 108 and runs on Monday evenings from mid-November to March.  Whether you are an experienced curler or new to the sport, this is a great program for you to learn the game or improve your curling skills, strategy and understand the science behind sweeping.

League play offers a fun and friendly atmosphere where you can socialize while you get some exercise and play a game you enjoy.  The league can accommodate up to twelve teams and all you have to do is sign up, show up, and hurry hard!  Games are played at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from mid-November to March.

The Pense Curling Club is available for corporate and family rentals and offers a lounge and concession.   We also host a number of spiels during the season where the emphasis is on FUN and CURLING.  Visit our Facebook Page at “Pense Curling Club” to get all the news regarding club activities.

The Pense Curling Club is run with the help of many volunteers.  These club members paint our ice, assist with general maintenance in the building, and make sure the ice is in great shape for our curlers.  The support from our community and our club volunteers allow us to have a well-rounded program for people of all ages to enjoy.

For information about any of our programs or rentals contact Bonnie Fenrick – 306-539-1145 or pensecurlingclub@hotmail.com.
